SAPS Duduza celebrate Madiba Day
SAPS Duduza in collaboration with the non-profit organisation Letha Ithemba Elisha celebrated Mandela Day by giving back to the community.

In a gesture to not only promote safety and good hygiene during the Covid-19 pandemic, but also to assist learners who are faced with challenges of poverty and hunger, police officials and members of Letha Ithemba Elisha, visited Sibonisiwe Primary School on July 14, where they handed out food parcels that were donated by United Against Hunger.
During the visit, safety protocol (such as regular washing of hands and the wearing of masks) was discussed and learners were reminded about the importance of keeping a social distance to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus.
The effort was appreciated by the school management who is concerned that more children may go hungry as the pandemic continues towards its peak and households suffer a loss of income as a result thereof.
