Local restaurants and pubs ready to cheers

With lockdown restrictions lowered to level 2 as of August 18, restaurants and pub owners in Nigel and Heidelberg said they are ready and excited to welcome patrons back and to lift a glass in the celebration that life can almost return to normal again.

Strict protocol will, however, remain in place at all restaurants and pubs and all guests must still wear a mask and apply the social distancing rules.

Staff members at Heidelberg Club returned to work today and are ready to welcome everyone.

“We tried to stock up in anticipation of reopening, however with the alcohol restrictions in level 3, it was difficult to buy certain alcoholic beverages due to the ban. We do, however, have most of the popular brands available and we are ready to welcome customers back,” Carlos Netto (owner) said.

Staff at Sol Nascente is also ready for the big cheers after the long-anticipated wait for the ban on alcohol sales to be lifted. Tables and floors have been sanitised and the bar is well stocked. Everyone is welcome to visit the restaurant and enjoy their favourite drink.

The long wait for customers in Nigel is also over and Picanha restaurant-and bar in Springsroad is also ready to serve.
