Damduikers back in action
Alrapark Damduikers Angling Club are back at the waters with some great action between members on January 9 at the Woelwaters Resort.
Geronimo Langford caught a barber weighing 12kg. The catch of the day went to Dominic Magalhaes, who caught a barber weighing 15kg and battled for approximately 30 minutes to bring it to shore.
The team is practising for the upcoming Bloemhof Bonanza angling competition taking place at the end of January. All fish caught is catch and release.
Magalhaes advised up-and-coming anglers that although nature can bring challenges for fishermen, proper preparation will ensure the fishing trip is successful and filled with joy.
