“We are very encouraged by the commitment and enthusiasm shown by our players at the training. It is wonderful to see both junior and senior team members working hard, supporting one another and steadily improving their skills.

“We are also delighted to welcome new members to the club because their presence brings fresh energy and strengthens our hockey family. As we prepare for the upcoming fixtures, we are confident that the dedication shown on the training field will translate into strong performances during matches,” she said.

Welsh also expressed appreciation for the role played by parents and guardians in supporting the club’s activities.

“We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all the families who continue to support our players and the club.

“Their encouragement, time and commitment make a meaningful difference and help create a positive environment where our players can grow and enjoy the sport. Members are reminded of the upcoming dates on the club calendar.

“League trials are scheduled for February 23, and we will then host our first friendly fixture of the season on February 27 against Springs Hockey Club. We have three mixed teams comprising junior and senior players, who are expected to take the field on the day,” she said.
