Ermelo swimming pool remains vandals’ paradise

Much has been spoken and written in the past about the state of the once inviting Ermelo municipal swimming pool that has been abandoned and left at the mercy of vandals and vagrants for several years.
Several attempts have been made in the past at mobilising the restoration of the facility, but as yet nothing has materialised.
The Highvelder is aware of fresh plans that are afoot to restore the swimming pool and clean up the surrounding Pet Dam area.
The current condition of the swimming pool complex will certainly provide the various role players with a mammoth task and will require a financial injection of millions of Rands.
