Various cases of housebreaking in Wesselton were reported this weekend.

The first incident took place in Thusi Village sometime between 6 and 8 December.

The owner returned home and found the front door forced open.

Cash, clothing, a sound system, television set and groceries with a combined value of R25 000 were stolen.

Another burglary took place the night of 6 December at a house in Siluma Street.

Upon returning home, the owner discovered that a television set, DVD player and shoes to the value of R9 800 were stolen.

A house in Extension 5 was also burgled the night of 7 December. The stolen goods include a home theatre system and a cell phone with an estimated value R15 000.
