Planned electricity outage

According to the municipal communication unit, a planned electricity outage by Eskom will take place on 23 and 30 November.

The outage, due to the refurbishment needs to be completed in the Ermelo sub-station to cater for the increasing demand of energy from the town and rural communities, will affect the whole of Ermelo and Wesselton.

On both days the electricity will be off between 08:00 and 18:00.

The power interruption is subject to favourable weather conditions.

All electrical points and installations should be considered live during the power interruption as Eskom can restore power at any time.
