Pistol Club rewards top shots

Ermelo Defensive Pistol Club (EDPC) rewarded its top shots for 2014 at an intimate prize-giving and dinner function held at the Ermelo Inn on Friday evening.

The function also served as a farewell for Richard Proudman, who is relocating to Kimberley later this month. Richard is the current chairman and is a founding member of EDPC. He has been closely involved with the club since its inception in 2011.

The club is also eagerly anticipating a move to its new shooting range at Vlakfontein in the new year. The range has been built from scratch and is a world-class facility carrying the SABS stamp of approval as well as that of the South African Pistol Shooting Association. The SA National Defensive Pistol Shooting Championship is due to be held at the Vlakfontein range next year.

The EDPC exco thanks all those who have contributed towards the success of the club and trust that the club will grow from strength to strength in the future.
