Local mine hosts awards ceremony

Vunene Mining and ICHORCOAL in Ermelo hosted an awards ceremony to young, local and upcoming busines man and women at an event hosted at the Highveld Conference Centre “Heads on Beads” in Ermelo.
The group of 14 SMME’s successfully competed a two months Business Management and Development course from the University of Limpopo sponsored by the mine.
In his address, Human Resources Manager Mr Martin Magadla urged the young entrepreneurs to go out and share the knowledge they have acquired so as to improve the quality of life in Ermelo.
“We want you to go out and invent ideas that would lead to employment and thereby contributing and improving in the economy of this town, said Magadla.
General Manager Mr G. Ponni instructed the businessman and women to go out and make a change and transform their communities.
