The community of KwaZanele in Breyten came out in numbers and joined the national chorus in celebration of 16 Days of No Violence Against Women and Children.
The group braved a 5 Kilometers march chanting songs of no violence against women and children.
Secretary for Community Policing Forum, Ms Nonsikelelo Nhleko warned young girls against men who lure them with alcohol in exchange for sex.
Mr Simon Shongwe from Breyten Magistrate’s Court spoke to the community on the different services they provide such as child maintenance, protection orders, small claims court and Equality Court.
Ms Martha Mphali from Hands Off Children and Women Shelter sent a strong warning to women who abuse their men and rush to the police for restraining and protection orders.
She also encouraged men to break the silence and speak out when they are being abused.
