KwaZanele businessman Mr Teddy Xaba brought early Christmas presents to senior citizens of KwaZanele Old Age Centre when he brought food parcels for the 35 grannies and grand pa’s.
In handing over the food parcels, Mr Xaba said old people are walking dictionaries and sources of information that must be preserved and looked after.
He informed the newspaper that his late mother’s spirit is what keeps him going and wanting to do something for others.
Centre Manager Ms Khabonina Mkhatshwa was lost for words to express her joy but said that they are really grateful for the gifts.
