In one of several accidents in and near Ermelo over the weekend, two people suffered only minor injuries when a bakkie and a sedan collided just outside Ermelo on the N11 between Ermelo and Hendrina at about 23:00 on Saturday night.
The injured were assessed on the scene by Mpumalanga Ambulance Services personnel and declined hospital treatment.
The driver of the sedan told the Highvelder he had bought the vehicle only two weeks ago.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
