Movember is an awareness campaign for men diagnosed with prostate and testicular cancer, along with mental health and suicide prevention. Over the years, it has been synonymous with the term No-shave November where men grow a moustache for the entire month and are not allowed to shave it off
It is an initiative that takes place during the month of November to raise awareness of various cancers and increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments.
RULES FOR MOVEMBER:
- You must be clean shaven on 1 November to begin the challenge
- Beards are not allowed, growing and grooming your moustache is the main focus
- You need to have a moustache for the entire month of November
- Remember the point of Movember is to raise awareness about prostate cancer, testicular cancer and male mental health. Never forget the real reason people take part in this initiative
