It boasts 19 fully refurbished and equipped coaches that serve as a simple one-stop clinic with several health care services under one roof.
The train provides health, oral and psychology facilities as well as vision screening programmes, medication through its on-board pharmacy and basic health education awareness and community counselling workshops.
The workshops covered topics such as alcohol and drug abuse, coping with the death of a loved one, child abuse and rape, suicide and depression and violence in the home and community.
Ms Lynette Flusk, train manager, appealed to the communities in and around Msukaligwa to visit the train while it is stationary and grasp this opportunity with both hands.
“We thank all the stakeholders for their continued support while the train has been stationed here,” she said.
The train will be here till Friday, 20 April and will offer services up to 11am.
