Ermelo Police were informed of a murder on Saturday, 16 February, around 12.15am.
The 25-year-old man was allegedly at a club near De Jager and Oosthuize street when he phoned his friend asking for his help because he was stabbed with a knife.
They arranged to meet in Church street, where his friend took him to the hospital with a stab wound to the left of his neck.
“The man was declared dead at the hospital,” said Ermelo Police spokesman, Capt Carla Prinsloo.
Ermelo Police arrested a suspect later the day in connection with the incident.
