Carolina Police arrest two men for assault with the intention to cause grievously bodily harm

Two suspects, Mr Sibusiso Khumalo (18) and a 17-year-old were arrested and first appeared in Carolina Court on 2 March.

Carolina Police arrested two suspects in connection with an assault with the intention to cause grievous body harm.

According to Sgt Thabang Mokwana, spokesman for Carolina Police, Mr Nagashe Bingani (24) was walking with his cousin in Matyeka Street in Silobela Location, when two men attacked him with a knife.

Mr Bingani was admitted to Carolina Hospital where he was treated.

Two suspects, Mr Sibusiso Khumalo (18) and a 17-year-old, whose name is being withheld because he is a minor, were arrested and first appeared in Carolina Court on 2 March.

The 17-year-old suspect was released with a warning and will appear in court again on 4 April, while Mr Khumalo is still in custody and will appear in court on 18 March.
