A notice was given that the valuation roll for the financial year 1 July till 30 June 2024, is open for public inspection, from 23 March until 23 April.
This is in terms of Section 49(1)(a)(i) of the Local Government: Municipal Property Rates Act, 2004 (Act No 6 of 2004).
The valuation roll is available at www.msukaligwa.gov.za .
Ms Gladness Jabu Majola, municipal manager of Msukaligwa Municipality, said: “An invitation is made in terms of the Section 49(1)(a)(ii) of the Act that any owner of a property or other person who so desires can lodge an objection with the municipal manager in respect of any matter reflected in, or omitted from the valuation roll within the above mentioned period.”
Public can obtain the form for lodging an objection on the website, fill it in and must be returned to one of the following offices:
