Sheepmoor Police arrest 10 residents during national lockdown

Sheepmoor Police arrested 10 residents during the national 21-day lockdown.

According to Const Thembelihle Mshayisa, spokesman of Sheepmoor Police, a total of 10 arrests have been made since the beginning of the lockdown.

Const Mshayisa said: “These people were arrested for failing to comply with the Disaster Act 2020.

“The accused appeared in Ermelo Magistrate’s Court and eight were granted bail of R1 000 while two are still in custody.”

Their next court appearance will again be at the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on 8 April.
