Msukaligwa Municipality shared information on their Facebook page about home care for people with suspected or confirmed Covid-19, on 6 April.
- All members of the household:
“When coughing or sneezing, ensure to cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or use a disposable tissue and discard immediately.”
“Avoid unnecessary exposure to an ill person and avoid sharing items, such as eating utensils, dishes, drinks and towels.”
- For caregivers:
“Identify frequently touched surfaces by the ill persons, clean and disinfect them daily.”
Stringent protocols in place:
As your local news provider, we have the duty of keeping you factually informed on Covid-19 developments.
As you may have noticed, mis- and disinformation (also known as “fake news”) is circulating online.
Local newsrooms follow a strict pre-publication fact-checking protocol.
A national task team has been established to assist in bringing you credible news reports on Covid-19.
