Admin Clerk at Piet Retief Police Station tests positive for Covid-19

The Community Service Centre will now be operated at the Cluster Office at 1 Kruger Street Mkhondo.

All communities serviced by the Piet Retief Police Station, should take note that the police station has been temporarily closed due to one of its members, an administration clerk, who has tested positive for the Covid-19 on 30 June.

This news came in shortly after it was discovered that Ermelo Police Station has also been affected by a positive case.

The Community Service Centre will now be operated at the Cluster Office at 1 Kruger Street Mkhondo.

The office is situated near the SASSA Offices, about 1.5km from the station.

To access the station, the community can call (017) 824 2702 for all emergencies and complaints which will be attended accordingly.

The telephone lines at the Piet Retief Police Station Community Service Centre, will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.

The building will be decontaminated and services will resume normally at the station on Friday , 03 July.

The South African Police management apologise for any inconvenience that may have arised from this.
