Ermelo Christian School Rocks!

ERMELO – The Grade 10 and Grade 11 learners of Ermelo Christian School (ECS) decided to take on the worldwide Rocks of Kindness Project.
The purpose of this project is to cultivate connections within communities and lift others up through simple acts of kindness.
This entails people, commonly children, painting pebbles or cobbles and leaving them for others to find.
ECS learners were accommodated by Madness restaurant, where they were able to showcase their “kindness rocks” and made them available to the community.
This project was part of their community tasks, which exposed learners to various new skills, obtaining knowledge, adjusting their attitudes, adopting values that supercede the usual classroom environment and to promote inner-growth.
