Spinning Marathon hosted to raise funds for Ermelo SAVF Retirement Village

A total of R2 400 was raised and donated to the retirement village.

ERMELO – Frogfoot hosted their first spinning marathon for SAVF Retirement Village on October 22.

Participants paid a fee of R50 to join in to support the cause.

A total of R2 400 was raised and donated to the retirement village.

Winners also received prizes:

• Hennie Broxham – a one-month gym voucher from Frogfoot for most calories burnt by a single participant.

• Gerrit Breytenbach – gym hamper from Mecca Muscle for most kilometers cycled by a single participant.

• Kevin Helena, Eben Swart, Pieter van Deventer, Jacolien de Beer, Robert Cronje, and Lawrence Scott – meal vouchers from Apache Peak Spur for most calories burnt by group participants.

• Gerhard du Preez, Janelle van Eeden, Grizelda Heydenreich, Arita Crous, Jandre Crous, and Edward van Eeden – meal vouchers from Madness Restaurant for best team spirit by group participants.

• Adrian Wallace – pizza and wine voucher from Butr Deli for the spinning raffle draw.
