Four day power outage planned for Ermelo

ERMELO – Msukaligwa Local Municipality (MLM) has issued a notice for a four day planned power interruption.

The outage will begin on Friday, November 19 at 06:00 until Monday, November 22 at 16:00.

According to Mr Mandla Zwane, spokesman for MLM the scope of the work include the replacement of the 11KV indoor switch gears at the 88/11KV substation in Ermelo, Extension 18.

The affected areas are:

Portions of Ext 14, Netherland Park and Industrial Area.
Portions of John Voater Park and CBD area 1.
Portions of Wesselton Ext5, Old Wesselton GSDM offices, Ermelo Provincial Hospital, Portions of De Bruin Park and Nooitgedacht Estate.
Ermelo Ext 32, 33,34, Nomndeni (Autumn Ridge)

“The municipality would like to advise residents to consider all electrical points live during the interruption,” Mr Zwane said.
