ERMELO – The African National Congres (ANC)’s Cllr Bhekiwe Agnes Mahlalela has been elected the new executive mayor of the Msukaligwa Local Municipality.

She will be the first woman in Msukaligwa who will take on the role of mayor.

Along with her, Cllr Vuyiswa Cawekazi Nomaswazi Madini was elected as the speaker and Cllr Samkelo Buthelezi was elected whip of council.
