Man arrested in connection with rape of 90-year-old woman from Morgenzon
Information provided by police indicates that the man was known to the family of the 90-year-old woman who was raped.
MORGENZON – A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection with the rape of a 90-year-old woman.
According to Colonel Donald Mdhluli, a provincial police spokesperson, the woman was viciously attacked and raped in her home on September 1 at about 02:00.

He added the reports of the incident indicated that the suspect was known to the victim’s family.
“Morgenzon SAPS tracked down and apprehended the alleged perpetrator shortly after the incident and charged him accordingly,” Mdhluli said.
