From the editor’s desk: That’s a wrap for 2023!
We eagerly anticipate continuing to share the news that matters with you.
It’s that time of the year again when we look at our calendar and stand in amazement at how swiftly the past year has flown by.
We’re not just looking back, but also forward as we get our affairs in order for the new year.
On behalf of the entire Highvelder team, I want to extend a sincere thank you to each of our readers and clients. You’re not just supporters of the newspaper, but also a part of the stories and news that we share.
With sadness, we also have to bid farewell to Anesca Moodley, one of Highvelder’s exceptional sales representatives, as she embarks on a new chapter in Durban with our sister branch, the South Coast Sun Newspaper. We wish her the very best and express our gratitude for the contributions she has made here at Highvelder.
Details about her successor will be announced in our first issue of the new year.
The last edition of Highvelder for this year will be available at our offices at 43 Kerk Street on December 20, and our offices will be closed until January 3.
Readers and clients can look forward to the first publication of the new year in the week of January 12.
A friendly reminder to our advertisers: the deadline for display adverts is on Monday January 8 at 13:00, and for classifieds at 12:00 on the same day.
We eagerly anticipate continuing to share the news that matters with you.
May this festive season be filled with joy, peace, and the company of your loved ones.
Additionally, we wish our readers a new year abundant with success, triumphs, and fruitful endeavours.
Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!
