Vehicle collision at Ligbron cafeteria prompts swift school response

He expressed gratitude for the prompt and decisive action taken by everyone involved.

In an unforeseen incident this afternoon, January 25, a vehicle accidentally collided with one of the glass doors of the cafeteria of Ligbron Akademie vir Tegnologie.

Immediate protocols were put into effect to ensure the safety of everyone on the premises.

The school acted swiftly to manage the situation, with only minor injuries reported.

Ligbron’s principal, Gerhard Brand, assured the community that the school’s response was guided by the well-being of the learners.

Brand stated, “The school acted swiftly, with the interest of the learners as our main priority. We are taking this matter very seriously and are dealing with it accordingly.”

Accidents can happen to anyone, and Ligbron acknowledges this reality.

Principal Brand added, “Unfortunately, no one is exempt from accidents, and we thank our Father that, fortunately, no one was seriously injured. Our thoughts are with those injured, and we anticipate a speedy recovery. We appreciate the support and understanding of the entire community during this time.”

He concluded, “The school is actively working to address the incident and ensure the safety of its students and staff. Ligbron remains committed to providing a secure and conducive learning environment for all.”
