ERMELO – During the storm the town experienced on January 29, water cascaded through the roof of the Sport Inn building, resulting in flooding across sections of the floor.

Highvelder’s journalist was in the building when the storm hit, and saw streams of water seeping through the roof.

Water also rushed down the stairs into one of the areas where the wrestling and gymnastic clubs practice.

This poses a significant concern to the members of the sport clubs, as the water damage threatens the expensive equipment, such as the mats used for practice.
