Prepare for planned power interruption in Ermelo
The electricity will be off on July 21 from 7:00 to 15:00 due to, among other, the replacement of damaged transformers.
ERMELO – A planned power interruption is scheduled to take place in Ermelo on July 21.
According to the Msukaligwa Municipality, the interruption is due to the replacement of damaged transformers on various switchgears.
The scope of work includes inter alia; the removal of damaged CT’s, installation of the new CT’s, reconfigurations of settings and testing and commissioning.
The supply will be interrupted from 07:00 until 15:00
The affected areas will be:
- Klipbou
- Longhomes
- Mazakhele
- Kakati
- Thuthukani
- Phumula
- Thembisa
- Everest Park
- Douglas-dam, including the Gholf course, airport and K9-unit
- Ext 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11
All electrical points and installations should be considered live during the power interruption.
