ERMELO – Msukaligwa Fire & Rescue Services along with Working on Fire (WOF) were dispatched to a veld fire on the Hendrina road.

Residents in Pet Street reported large smoke cloud seen from their homes.

According to another voice note on emergency groups the fire is near the Ermelo airport.

Motorists are advised to travel with caution as smoke may decrease visibility in the area.
