Motorists travelling along the N17 between Chrissiesmeer and Warburton are urged to exercise extreme caution following flooding near the Florence Dam.

Due to rising water levels, one lane of the road has been closed to ensure the safety of all road users.

The lane will remain closed until the water has cleared and it is deemed safe for use.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and use alternative routes.
