Accident on Bethal road claims one life – road closed

A collision occurred on the N17, about 1 km from the tollgate outside Ermelo towards Bethal, between a light vehicle and a truck.

All emergency services are on the scene, including police, traffic department, towing services, pathology and Msukaligwa Fire and Rescue Services.

One person traveling in the vehicle tragically died in the accident.

The road is currently closed. 

Motorists are advised to drive with caution and follow the instructions of the officials on the scene.
