Police investigate Ermelo link in search for missing elderly woman

The search for missing pensioner Lahliwe Dladla continues as police follow new information suggesting she may have been spotted in Ermelo.

Police are appealing to the public to help trace 79-year-old Lahliwe Magrieta Dladla, who has been missing since 1 November.

She was last seen at around 08:40 when her granddaughter left her at their home in Siyathuthuka, Belfast.

When the granddaughter returned later that afternoon, the elderly woman was no longer at the residence.

Dladla was reportedly wearing a green-and-white dress and black boots when she disappeared.

Neighbourhood watch groups and community organisations have widely circulated her image in an effort to assist police.

The search area has broadened after Belfast SAPS received information suggesting that Dladla may have been spotted in Ermelo.

Authorities say even the smallest detail could help bring her home.
