NOTICE IN TERMS OF SECTION 39 OF THE ELIAS MOTSOALEDI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY LAND USE SCHEME, 2022 FOR THE APPLICATION FOR A SPECIAL CONSENT TO THE ELIAS MOTSOALEDI LOCAL MUNICIPALITY IN TERMS OF PROVISIONS OF SECTION 74 OF THE ELIAS MOTSOALEDI MUNICIPALITY SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT BY-LAW, 2016 READ WITH CLAUSE 40 OF THE ELIAS MOTSOALEDI LAND USE SCHEME, 2022 IN ORDER TO OBTAIN THE CONSENT APPROVAL FOR THE REGULARISATION OF THE EXISTING CELLULAR TELEPHONE MAST AND BASE STATION ON A PORTION OF PORTION 2 OF ERF 519 GROBLERSDAL TOWNSHIP (TO BE KNOWN AS ERF 29 GROBLERSDAL TOWNSHIP).

We, Smit & Fisher Planning (Pty) Ltd, being the authorized agent of the owner of Portion 2 of erf 519 Groblersdal Township (to be known as erf 29 Groblersdal Township) , hereby give notice in terms of Section 39 of the Elias Motsoaledi Municipality Land Use Scheme, 2022 that we have submitted the Consent Use application on the 22 June 2026 to the Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality in terms of provisions of Clause 40 of the Elias Motsoaledi Land Use Scheme, 2022 read with Section 74 of the Elias Motsoaledi Municipality Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-Laws, 2016 in order to regularize the existing 36m High Lattice type and 20m High Monopole Type Telecommunication cell masts and 200 square metre base station on the above mentioned property situated at Grobler Avenue, Groblersdal, Limpopo.

Any objection(s) and/or comment(s), including the grounds for such objection(s) applicable to this application and/or comment(s) with full contact details, without which the Municipality cannot correspond with the person or body submitting the objection(s) and/or comment(s), shall be lodged with, or made in writing to BOTH the applicant (details below) and the Registration Section of the Department of Land Use Management at the Registration Section of the Department of Land Use Management at the below address, or posted to P.O. Box 48, Groblersdal, 0470, or an e-mail sent to lmapulane@emlm.gov.za, by not later than 05 September 2026 (28 days after the date of publication of the notice).

Full particulars and plans (if any) may be inspected during normal office hours (08:00-15:30) at the Municipal offices as set out below, for a period of 28 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the newspaper, being 07 August 2026.
