NOTICE We, Indurain Urban Planners (Pty) Ltd, have lodged a land development application in terms of Msukaligwa Local Municipality Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-Law, 2016, and the Msukaligwa Land Use Scheme, 2021, for subdivision the of Portion 2 of the Farm Tafelkop 270 IS into two portions, with the subsequent written consent for a `Renewable Energy` land use on one of the subdivided portions. The property is situated 18.5 km west-northwest of Ermelo CBD at the following coordinates: 2627`15.8″S 2948`51.9″E.
The purpose of the application is to facilitate the development of an electrical substation on a portion of the subject property which will form part of the proposed Phefumula Emoyeni Renewable Energy Facility. A copy of the application and supporting documentation is available for viewing during normal office hours at the Office of the Director of Planning and Economic Development, c/o Taute and Kerk Street, Msukaligwa Municipal Offices, Ermelo, 2350, who can be contacted at the following contact number: 017-801-3487. Written comments or objections together with reasons therefore in respect of the application must be submitted, in the prescribed format, to the Municipal Manager, Msukaligwa Local Municipality, PO Box 48 Ermelo, 2350 or delivered to the office of the Town Planner as provided above, by no later than
7 September 2026. The format in which comments or objections may be submitted is available from the office of the Town Planner, at the above- mentioned address. Any person who cannot read or write may consult with any staff member of the office of the Senior Town Planner, during office hours and assistance will be given to transcribe that person`s objections or comments.
