Notice is hereby given for the Public Participation Process in terms of the National Environmental Management Act (Act No. 107 of 1998) in accordance with the 2014 Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations (as amended on 7 April 2017), of the intent to submit Basic Assessment for application Mining Permit to the Department of Mineral Resources in terms of Section 22 of the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Act, 2002 (Act No. 28 of 2002).
NATURE OF THE ACTIVITY: FOCUL POINT RESOURCES (Pty) Ltd has lodged an application for Mining Permit for Coal on Magisterial District of Gert Sibande in Mpumalanga Province.
