NOTICE OF BASIC ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT PROCESS FOR THE PROPOSED CLEARANCE OF INDIGENOUS VEGETATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF A HOUSING COMPLEX AT FARM NUMBER 618 JT, MANZANA IN MPUMALANGA PROVINCE.
Notice is hereby given in terms of regulation 41(c)(i) of the environmental impact assessment regulations, published in Government Notice No.982 of 2014 (as amended) that Stone keep properties has proposed clearance of indigenous vegetation at Manzana farm number 618 JT in Mpumalanga Province. The proposed activity requires Environmental authorisation from the Mpumalanga department of Agriculture, rural development, land and Environmental affairs (M-DARDLEA) as it is a listed activity in terms of listing notice 1 (GNR983) of the EIA regulations 2014 (as amended). Below is a description of applicable activities as provided for in listing notices for which a basic environmental assessment application process is required.

The clearance of an area of 1 hectare or more, but less than 20 hectares of indigenous vegetation. 19.5 Hectares will be cleared.
