NOTIFICATION OF LAND A DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION
We, Nuplan Development Planners CC, have lodged land development application in terms of Section 80 of the Chief Albert Luthuli Spatial Planning and Land Use Management By-Law, 2016, for the Special Consent of the Municipality to use Portion 1 of Erf 751, Carolina Township, situated north-west of the R38 (Voortrekker Street) in Niekerk Street in central Carolina, to allow for a “Liquor Enterprise” under the current “Business 1” zoning. The purpose of the application is to regularise the existing liquor-related land uses in accordance with the requirements of the Land Use Scheme.
A copy of the application and supporting documentation are available for viewing during normal office hours at The Chief Town Planner: Planning and Economic Development Department, Second Floor,

Written comments or objections together with reasons therefore in respect of the application must be submitted, in the prescribed format, to: The Chief Town Planner, Private Bag x719, 1185; or delivered to Registry Section of Records, Planning and Economic Development Department Second Floor, C/o Voortrekker and Versveld Street; or faxed to 017-843-4001; or emailed to: Bianca@albertluthuli.gov.za or Thwalaan@albertluthuli.gov.za not later than 29 November 2026, being 30 days from
30 October 2026. The format for the comments or objections is available from The Chief Town Planner: Land Use management at the above-mentioned address or on the municipality`s website
(www.albertluthuli.gov.za). Any person who cannot read or write may consult with any staff member of the office of The Chief Town Planner: Land Use Management Section during office hours and assistance will be given to transcribe that person`s objections or comments.
