Disgusted resident, Ermelo:

We have just had the municipality collecting our rubbish on Sunday, 1 December.

I went out as the workers had not picked up all our bags. When I asked them to take all the bags and pick up the rubbish strewn by people digging in the bags, they gave me such attitude.

This is totally unacceptable as this is a service that we are paying for.

If they had collected the rubbish on Thursday like they are meant to do, the bags would not have been torn and there would not have been rubbish all over our roads. Then they still had the cheek to come to my house again and tell my wife to enjoy picking up rubbish.

What is this town coming to? Grobler Street looks like a dump site.
