Forever a legend in our hearts

The flame may be dimmed but the light of wisdom remains lit.

Sibusiso Mnisi-Masina, Wesselton:

Although this legend may have passed on, he will be remembered for his selflessness, will to achieve the impossible.

Mandela didn’t look at his oppressors as enemies, but as human beings who deserved to be forgiven. The challenge remains with us to carry his dream.

He also used sports as the vehicle for reconciliation and to unite the nation, hence we need to do well and excel in sports.

He stood for forgiveness, reconciliation and unquestionable moral standards.

He loved kids so much and wished for them to have a hospital especially for them. This would be the first of its kind in the country.

The flame may be dimmed but the light of wisdom remains lit. Long live the spirit of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.
