Kathleto Moloi and Michelle Parkes win Hans Storm memorial race
The winners of the race were Kathleto Moloi in the men's division and Michelle Parkes in the women's division.
Residents gathered at JJ van der Merwe in Ermelo to participate in the annual Hans Storm Memorial Race on October 13.
Runners could participate in two different categories namely the 10km route or a fun run.
A total of 56 athletes participated in the 10km route and 160 took part in the fun run.
The winners of the race were Kathleto Moloi in the men’s division and Michelle Parkes in the women’s division.
In second place were Hanco Cronje in the men’s division and Xoli Madida in the women’s division.
Derrick Masango came third in the men’s division and Hlobie Madida in the women’s division.
The winners in the junior category were Hanko Cronje (men’s division) and Michelle Parkes (women’s division).
In the same category for the men’s division Zolile Nkosi achieved second place and Mavuso Themnkosi was third.
Tyrone Berning and Zelda Keyser won the fun run with Innocent Matshoenyane and Werné Engelbrecht in second and Sibusiso Lubisi as well as Elandri Kleynhans in third.
