Ermelo barista and boxer inspires youth with free boxing lessons

A local barista with a passion for boxing and uniting the youth.

Bra Steve, a local barista and boxer, has become a household name, admired for his inspiring contributions to the youth and his unwavering commitment to their development.

Sport has always held a special place in his heart, and his belief in its transformative power for young individuals has been the driving force behind his endeavors.

Determined to make a difference, he aspires to use his passion for combat sports as a catalyst for positive change.

Recognising that sport can serve as a powerful tool to reach out to the youth.

Steve has taken matters into his own hands by hosting free classes for aspiring young boxers.

Application forms for the classes are readily available, and registration is free of charge, ensuring that no aspiring athlete is denied the opportunity to pursue their dreams.

Registration to participate in an upcoming boxing tournament is open and will close on July 22. Entry forms are available on WhatsApp or for delivery only at Ermelo Shoprite Mall.

Classes will start every Thursday to Saturday from July first, at 24 Robertson Street Ermelo.

Classes will be on Thursdays and Fridays, 15:00 to 17:00 and Saturdays from 14:00 to 16:30.

Anyone from 14 years and older is welcome.

All participants are advised to be dressed in sports attire and bring their own towel and water.
