Ibhola Lethu Development League in Ermelo showcases impressive talent

Sponsors donated trophies, medals, soccer balls and two full soccer kits.

Several local soccer teams competed in the Ibhola Lethu Development League at the AJ Swanepoel Stadium in Ermelo on July 14.

During the tournament that took place from 08:00 to 17:00, the teams showcased incredible talent and sportsmanship as they competed for glory.

Sponsors in association with Ermelo Super Games, an organisation dedicated to providing underprivileged youth with a safe environment in which to play football, donated trophies, medals, soccer balls and two full soccer kits.

In the U15 finals, Little Stars team won 2-0 against Wesselton United.

Playing for third and fourth place, Ermelo City and Suncity ended the match 1-1. After penalties, Ermelo City won 4-3, taking third place in the tournament.

In the U17 finals, Citizen won Afro Sporting 2-1, with Breyten Stars in third place followed by Remember FC in fourth place.
