Learn about invasive plants in Highway area
THE Kloof Conservancy is offering an introductory full-day course on invasive plants common in the Upper Highway area.
Participants will learn why these plants are a threat to our ecosystems and biodiversity.
Practical removal methods for the suburban garden are covered.
Training can be in English or Zulu – depending on the participants’ preference.
The course takes place at Supaquick Tyres Training Centre, Oxford Village, Old Main Road, in Hillcrest on Wednesday, 18 October from 8.30am to 3.30pm.
The cost is R380 each.
