Outing to Msinsi Nature Reserve to spot the birds

BIRDLIFE Port Natal will travel on a outing to Msinsi Nature Reserve with Sandi du Preez on Wednesday, 28 March at 7.30am.

Interesting bird sightings have been recorded from this small reserve on the UKZN Howard College Campus: Black Sparrowhawk, Little Sparrowhawk and Grey Waxbill.

Directions: Travel west along Rick Turner Road past Princess Alice Avenue and the University of KwaZulu-Natal on the right.

The entrance to the reserve is halfway down the hill on the right, through Gate 10 to the UKZN sports fields.
