At 5.45am on Saturday, 10 February, hike to Mac Falls from Caltex Winston Park via the shortcut down into Giba and on to the falls return to your vehicles via the forest route. Contact Lorraine on 082 726 7787.

On Sunday, 11 February, hike Winston Park circular from the end of Jan Smuts Avenue. Views over the Monastery and Pinetown. Fairly level hike along edge of escarpment. Meet at 2pm at end of Jan Smuts Avenue. Contact David on 072 615 0559.

Durban Ramblers Hiking Club
Hike Virginia Bush NR (Durban North) on Saturday, 10 February. The walk will be inside forested area in the Virginia Bush NR and back down for a beach hike, R20 donation towards the upkeep of the reserve. Drinks afterwards at Virginia Beach so bring your own drinks and chairs. Meet at 1.45pm at the Virginia Beach parking. Contact Jon on 082 459 1522. Grade 2 moderate; ±8km.
