Tea party raises more than pinkies

Forest View Primary School raised more than R10 000 for CANSA with its Mad Hatter Tea Party.

IN celebration of Women’s Month, Hirsch’s Hillcrest popped over to Forest View Primary School to serve delicious cappuccinos at its Mothers and Daughters Mad Hatter’s Tea Party fund-raiser.

Guests were treated to delicious cappuccinos, delectable cupcakes and scrumptious savoury treats made by the hard-working moms who put the event together, all in the name of charity.

Jen Marillier, the event organiser, said, “We were blown away by the support we received. We were initially hoping for 70 mothers and daughters but we have far exceeded these expectations by rounding up 200 people here today raising more than R10 000 for the CANSA Association.”
