Police recovered drugs and stolen items during a raid in Pinetown last week.

POLICE recovered drugs valued at R200 000 during a raid Pinetown last week.

According Pinetown SAPS communications officer Cst Lungile Mbatha, Pinetown detectives conducted a drug raid on Park Lane Flats on Thursday 5 September following two weeks worth of information they’d collected regarding robberies in Pinetown.

On their arrival at Park Lane Flats, police found an assortment of drugs, drug paraphernalia and various items suspected to have been stolen during robberies, including cell phones, bank cards and car radios.

The community is urged to come to the police station, especially those that have been robbed of their belongings, to check if their items are among those that have been recovered.
