Stats show serious crimes on the rise

A comparison of crime stats at five different stations.

ACCORDING to the national crime statistics released by Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa, serious crimes have escalated in the greater Highway area.

Statistics of each police station or precinct was also released.

On analysing and comparing the 2012/13 year from March 2012 to April 2013 to the 2011/12 figures of the same period, it is clear that crime levels in some categories have more than doubled.
