Become a Dream Chaser

Make the dreams of terminally ill children come true.

BECOME a Dream chaser and help make the dreams of children, aged 3 to 18, suffering with a life threatening illness come true.

Dream Chasers is an initiative of the Reach For A Dream Foundation (RFAD), a national registered charity that has been operating in SA for 25 years.

A Dream Chaser is anyone that wants to use their activities and ambition to help make dreams come true. It can be anything from cycling the Amashova, doing the Dusi, taking part in the Midmar Mile, walking to raise funds or a surfing competition for example.Whatever your challenge will be, you can use it as an opportunity to inspire hope in the children that Reach For A Dream works with.

Bluff resident, Jannie Weitz, a cancer survivor and previous dream child of Reach For A Dream wants to take on the Turbovite Jump City, an urban challenge series that combines the best of multi sports, obstacles courses and your city, to help make other childrens dreams a reality:

“I was once a dreamer and Reach for a Dream brought joy to my life at a time when I needed it most. After being in remission for the past 10 years, I feel it is time for me to give back to the people who gave so much to me. ”
